2007, Jury President, NETPAC Award for the Best Asian Film , Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale). This award provided by NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema), an international, non-profit Foundation, which has registered in Manila in December 1994. With representatives throughout Asia and world, NETPAC is only Pan-Asian film cultural organization involving, critics, filmmakers, festival organizers and curators, distributors and exhibitors, and film educators.

Current, Advisor of Centre for Media and Popular Culture Studies (PKMPB), a media research-based NGO set up by young intellectuals in Yogyakarta in 2004 focusing on media literacy, media performance and media democratization.
Current, Director of Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF), a first premiere Asian film festival in Indonesia attended by filmmakers, festival directors, film scholars and film critics across Asia and attended by more than 6,000 people every year since 2006. JAFF provides a space for showcasing of the best works of a new generation of Asian filmmakers. This objective complies with the mission of NETPAC in promoting Asian cinemas through many international film festivals and creating a platform for the best Asian cinema.
