This book delves into how music, films, and other forms of media are spreading throughout the region, fostering unity and a collective identity. Chapters in this book explore how the vibrant and diverse popular cultures of Southeast Asia are creating a sense of shared belonging.
This book also examines the fascinating journey of how these shared cultures can be promoted to a global audience. It addresses the opportunities and challenges of using popular culture as a tool for cross-cultural understanding and global outreach, especially in the age of digital media.
This book unveils the strategies and efforts behind promoting ASEAN’s shared culture, offering a comprehensive look at its potential to not only unite a region but also to captivate the world.
