Testimonial: “I feel incredibly lucky to have spent three enriching months as an intern at the Center for Southeast Asian Social Studies (CESASS), Universitas Gadjah Mada. From the very beginning, I was warmly welcomed into a humble and inspiring academic community that made me feel right at home. During my time there, I had the opportunity to take part in several flagship programs such as teaching Indonesian Language to exchange students from Thammasat University, which was both exciting and rewarding.

What made the experience even more meaningful was the chance to dive deeper into the socio-political dynamics of Southeast Asia. These discussions and exposures didn’t just broaden my perspective but also they sparked a growing passion in me for international political economy. This internship didn’t just fill my schedule. CESASS helped shape my academic journey and opened doors I hadn’t even considered before. I’m truly grateful for every moment!”
