THE SYMPOSIUM
Social science is bound to social and historical contexts, and knowledge reflects power relations. Not only political power, today’s development in information technology has undoubtedly put more pressures to the already marginalized social science and knowledge production.
How has social science responded to the challenges of the development of information technology? Can and how can social science maintain its critical role and its transformative capacity?
